Statement on Archiving Policy – Minority Protection

The Minority Protection Journal is dedicated to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of all its published content. Our archiving policy includes the following provisions:

  1. Repository Policies: The Journal securely preserves all electronically published content, including textual, visual, and other materials, on its own servers. The editorial board self-archives the preprint and the postprint versions of all submitted manuscripts. Additionally, all printed Issues of the Journal are available in the repository of the publisher, the Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary.

  2. Partner Archiving Services: Studies published in the Journal are also made available online and open-access via the Hungarian Science Bibliography (Magyar Tudományos Művek Tára, MTMT), which is a freely accessible database of scholarly publications administered by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.

  3. National Archiving Obligations: As per requirements of domestic Hungarian law on archiving vis-á-vis the country’s national library, the Journal provides seven hard copies of all its Issues by post to the National Széchényi Library. Apart from fulfilling legal obligations, this also enhances the preservation and accessibility of our content.
