Liverpool Hope University Summer Programs 2024

Liverpool Hope University, UK, is delighted to offer 3-week credit bearing courses from May to June on a range of themes for our partner universities. We do hope you will join us. The Summer Study Abroad is a three week course, with a two week taught course and an additional week of supported course assignments to gain 15 UK credits (normally equivalent to 3 USA academic credits). The deadline for applications is Monday 5th February 2024.

AEI-ASEM Summer School 2023

28th International Summer University
25 June - 30 June 2023, iASK in Kőszeg
The Institute of Advanced Studies in Kőszeg offers a special offer for international and Hungarian students of its partner Széchenyi University to attend the 28th International Summer University in Kőszeg located at the Austrian border, 2 hours by train from Győr.
Students attending Hungarian universities need to cover only their accommodation, for which a contingent in a hostel is reserved till 13th of June. (2-3 bed accommodation is also available to optimize costs), or else book individually in the city. In case of attending the whole event, credits will be granted, but it is also possible to attend only part of the program. An exciting academic program, catering - lunches, opening reception on Sunday, wine-tasting on Monday and the trip to Vienna to visit United Nations institutions as well as the Diplomatische Akademie Wien (Vienna School of International Studies (da-vienna.ac.at) is included in the program.

17° Summer School: MIGRANTS HUMAN RIGHTS DEMOCRACY

The Summer School is an international event aimed at academics, practitioners, BA and MA students, professionals working in the fields of forced migrations, human mobilities, refugees and humanitarism. The past decades have seen the emergence of a plethora of challenges that could threaten the community’s “we feeling” – hence, what held its societies together. Courses cover current European debates on the possibility of a European iden-tity and ask whether the EU is fit enough for the future. We will also get out of the classroom and meet with European politicians and experts in these fields.

Hence, courses cover the current challenges Europe and the EU face today: Brexit, political fragmentation and radicalization, and war. We will also get out of the classroom and meet with European politicians and experts in these fields.
